Being cooped up within the confinement of your house paired with the constant devasting news can take a toll on your health and well-being. The idleness, with having nothing productive to do is an open appeal for a catastrophic mental breakdown. As students, it can be pretty challenging for you to keep up with your academics under this constant anxiety and pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what can you do to drive your motivation? How can you make fruitful use of this time to prepare for your forthcoming exams?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your exams this lockdown:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

MAKE A REALISTIC PLAN AN STICK TO IT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s no point in going on a wild goose chase. Make a study plan that’s easy to follow and doesn’t carry overachieving tasks that you won’t ever complete. The key is to maintain steadiness and stay faithful to your routine no matter what.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHED ALL DISTRACTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log off social media, turn your phone off, and lock your bedroom door to keep your annoying siblings out. Work in complete silence, away from the nuisance of the outside world. You will surely see positive results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SET THE VIBE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drastic mood-lift after cleaning your room and study space might come off as quite a shock for you at first. Creating a clean, study ambiance is known to elevate one’s determination to study. You can also plug in your earphones and light a scented incense to further enhance your spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BE TRADITIONAL WITH YOUR NOTES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make handwritten notes. Try to make the information concise by creating bullet points, flow charts, diagrams, etc.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try challenging yourself with quizzes, self-analyzing tests, etc. to monitor your level of preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s nothing more satisfying than munching on snacks in between study sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BLESS YOURSELF WITH SELF-CARE ROUTINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be gentle with yourself. There’s no point in crying over the milk that is already spilled. But you still have ample time to prepare, provided you have the determination to do so. Amongst all these tactics, don’t forget to eat healthy food, work out, get good sleep and stay regularly hydrated!    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humans are social creatures, so you don’t have to hide from the entire world. Talking with your friends and family is helpful as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TREAT YOURSELF WITH THINGS THAT BRINGS YOU HAPPINESS <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, sacrifices are important towards your road to success, however, there’s no universal rule out there which states that to achieve your dreams you have to quit all your happiness. Balance is the ultimate key. As long as you know how to control your guilty pleasures, you can keep entertaining yourself with things that make you happy whilst simultaneously also preparing for your dreams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
