The news was delivered by the Education Minister of Assam, Ranoj Pegu to the media. Addressing the matter, the minister also disclosed that further decisions regarding the schedule and conduction of the exams will be taken by the Assam Health and Family Welfare Department within <strong>15<\/strong> days from the approval to carry out the exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, students had to appear for six subjects in the metric\/ High School Leaving Certification (HSLC) exams. For Higher Secondary (HS) exams students had to appear in five subjects in their respective Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. But this year due to the pandemic, students can opt to appear for any of the three papers of their choice to be able to pass the respective exams.
