Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses provided by several central institutions must now take the CUCET exam, which is mandatory starting this year. Many issues and criticisms have been raised by teachers, students, and even politicians since the launch of CUET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CUET has caused numerous students to say that it will be difficult for them to apply for courses other than those in their class 12. Students allege that they will be unable to choose subjects beyond those covered in class 12 and that this will drive them into degree programmes in which they are uninterested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many students have used social media to raise awareness about these issues. “Candidates may appear in CUET only for those subjects in which they have passed in their class,” according to the CUET announcement.
