The university is implementing the NEP and the four-year UG program from this academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Delhi University has welcomed the students admitted through the Common University Entrance Test on Wednesday in this new semester. However, admissions to 70,000 seats in various DU colleges are still underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University stated that the university is all set for the start of the new academic year. The University has also made the arrangements necessary to ensure the availability of all the facilities for the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, admissions are through the Common University Entrance Test examinations. Also, the University is implementing the National Education Policy. This different educational policy offers flexibility to the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DU Policies <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The DU is also implementing the four-year undergraduate program from this academic year. The colleges have conducted fumigation and activated anti-ragging committees to ensure the safety of the newcomers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramjas College Principal stated that there are a total of 1,550 seats in the college. All the seats have been filled. However, admission to the supernumerary seats is underway. The college is ready to host the first batch coming through the CUET this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university released the CSAS, i.e., its admission-cum-allocation policy on September 12. The university is conducting admissions in three phases. They include submission of the application form, selection of programs and filling of preferences and seat allocation and admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first round of seat allocation, 59,100 candidates have secured admission. In the first round, 15,398 candidates have frozen their seats and the second round of seat allocation is underway. At Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, meetings were conducted to ensure a smooth conduct of the orientation program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
