Delhi University planned a twenty per cent extra allocation for each programme in each college. This was for the unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories. Moreover, 30 per cent extra allocations were made for the categories of SC, ST, and PWD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new methodology was conferred to wind up the allocation process as soon as possible. Moreover, it was expected that after withdrawals and rejections, the final number of admissions would&nbsp;stabilise&nbsp;to the actual strength that is sanctioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, SRCC had objected to this stating that nobody will leave the institution. Thus, there will be an additional 20-30 per cent of students. However, DU had urged them to create additional facilities for our students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SRCC did not have any vacant seats after the first round. The sanctioned strength of the college is 626 seats across all categories in its BCom (Hons) programme. This year, its final admissions add up to 756, i.e., 130 more students or around 20.7 per cent higher than the sanctioned strength. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The college has a sanctioned strength of 155 seats in its BA (Hons) Economics programme. This year, its final admissions add up to 185, i.e., 30 students or around 19.35 per cent higher than the sanctioned strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for reading!
