In order to give a four-week gap between the two JEE Main sessions, the fourth session which was earlier announced to be held on July 27 to August 2 is postponed to be conducted from August 26 to September 2.
The decision was taken due to the fact that the student community had demanded persistently to provide a gap between the two sessions and to enable the candidates to maximize their performance.
Session four of JEE Main 2021 will be held on August 26, 27 and 31 including September 1 and 2. This year, nearly 7.32 lakhs of students have registered for the fourth session and the registration is extended up to July 20.
