Paper analysis of day 4 CUET exam held on July 20, 2022

The question paper of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG 2022) consisted of 3 sections – 1A and 1B comprising language, section 2 comprising domain-specific subjects and section 3 consisting of General test questions.

Candidates were given 45 minutes to solve each section with a total of 180 questions. Students will be awarded 5 marks for each correct answer and for an incorrect answer, 1 mark will be subtracted. The examination conducted on day 4 consisted of questions entirely from NCERT.

The shift 1 examination was on the whole ranked from easy to moderate while English paper was easy and general aptitude was easy to moderate. Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy and Psychology were the list of domain-specific subjects and the maximum weightage in English was given to topics such as reading comprehensions, analogy and synonyms/antonyms.

In General Test, topics such as Current Affairs, Time, Percentage, Blood Relation, Speed & Distance and Coding & Decoding were included.

The shift 2 examination was on the whole ranked from easy to moderate while the English paper was also ranked easy to moderate. Maximum weightage in English was given to topics such as reading comprehensions, analogy and synonyms/antonyms.
