- Bangalore University was established in July 1964 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Bangalore University has several affiliated colleges and P.G. Centers. It was accredited by NAAC with Five Star Status in 2002 and then re-accredited in the years 2008 and 2016 with an ‘A’ Grade. Bangalore University is ranked at No. 15 in the Top Multi-disciplinary Universities at All India level and No.1 in the State of Karnataka by the Hansa Research Survey 2016.

- The campus is located on a sprawling expanse of 1100 acres of land. The University facilitates the students with a Canteen, Cricket Ground, Guest House, Health Centre, Library and Senate Hall. Students are provided with dining, drinking water, reading room, TV and daily newspaper facilities along with their accommodation.
