Delhi University is one of the most prestigious universities and it is quite difficult to get admission here. Every year thousands of students work very hard to get admission here. However, due to the pandemic situation the admission process has changed a lot. One thing that you need to remember is that a total of 69,554 seats are on offer across 63 participating DU colleges via a merit-based admission process. Even though there are around 90 colleges but only 63 colleges offer merit-based admission. Not only this but 15% of the seats are reserved for the students that are not from Delhi. The one new change that was introduced by the Delhi University last year was that they added 5 seats for covid affected students.
