- Loyola College was established in 1925 by Rev. Fr. Francis Bertram S.J., in Nungambakkam, Chennai. It was affiliated with the University of Madras and became autonomous in 1978. It was reaccredited by NAAC with an A++ and has scored 3.70 out of 4.00 CGPA. It is also ranked 6 in College Category by NIRF 2020.
